April–June 2026 quarterలో భారత real GDP 7.8% పెరిగింది. ఇది Reuters pollలో economists అంచనా వేసిన 7.1%ను, RBI 7% projectionను మించింది. గత ఏడాది ఇదే quarterలో growth 6.9%. Global uncertainty మధ్య headline number బలంగా కనిపిస్తోంది.
కానీ ఈసారి మరింత ఆసక్తికరమైన సంఖ్య Gross Fixed Capital Formation. Real GFCF 11.9% పెరిగింది; గత ఏడాది Q1లో ఇది 5.8% మాత్రమే. Manufacturing 9.2%, services 10% పెరిగాయి. Private consumption కూడా 7.1% growthతో domestic demandకు మద్దతిచ్చింది. 🏭
కొద్ది రోజుల క్రితం MVRTalksలో Q1 GDP 7.1%కు తగ్గొచ్చన్న pre-release estimateపై చర్చించాం. ఇప్పుడు official result 7.8% రావడం growth resilienceను చూపుతోంది; అయితే growth qualityపై అప్పటి ప్రశ్న ఇంకా ప్రాసంగికమే.
అయితే అన్ని indicators ఒకే దిశలో లేవు. Agriculture 3.6% పెరిగినా mining 2.4% తగ్గింది. High crude prices, geopolitical uncertainty, global interest-rate pressures తదుపరి quartersలో costs, rupee, investment sentimentపై ప్రభావం చూపవచ్చు. అందుకే 7.8%ను finish lineగా కాకుండా strong startగా చూడాలి.
నా అభిప్రాయం:
GDP beat కంటే GFCF 11.9% పెరగడం నాకు ముఖ్యమైన signal. Investment నిజంగా productive capacity, manufacturing, infrastructure, jobsగా మారితే growthకు దీర్ఘకాల బలం వస్తుంది. Government capexతో మొదలైన momentum private investmentకు బలంగా చేరుతుందా అన్నదే తదుపరి పరీక్ష—score బాగుంది; ఇప్పుడు innings ఎంతకాలం నిలుస్తుందో చూడాలి.
