భగీరథుడిగా నా కథ
శివుడు గంగ ప్రవాహాన్ని తన జటల్లో స్వీకరించిన తరువాత, ఆ అపార జలశక్తి బయటకు వచ్చే సమయం వచ్చింది. ఆయన తన జటల నుంచి గంగను బిందు సరస్సులోకి విడుదల చేశాడు. అక్కడి నుంచి ఒకే ప్రవాహం ఏడు ధారలుగా విడిపోయింది.
హ్లాదిని, పావని, నళిని అనే మూడు పవిత్ర ప్రవాహాలు తూర్పు దిశగా సాగాయి. సుచక్షు, సీత, సింధు అనే మరో మూడు పశ్చిమ దిశగా ప్రవహించాయి. ఏడవ ప్రవాహం నా రథాన్ని అనుసరించేందుకు సిద్ధమైంది.
నేను దివ్య రథంపై ముందుకు సాగాను. వెనుక గంగ ప్రవహించింది. ఆకాశం నుంచి శివుని శిరస్సుకు, అక్కడి నుంచి భూమికి చేరిన జలాలు ఘోషతో ముందుకు కదిలాయి. చేపలు, తాబేళ్లు, జలచరాలు ఆ ప్రవాహంతో వచ్చాయి. దేవతలు, ఋషులు, గంధర్వులు, యక్షులు ఈ అపూర్వ దృశ్యాన్ని చూశారు.
నేను ఏ దిశగా వెళితే గంగ ఆ దిశగా వచ్చింది. నా పూర్వికుల బూడిద ఉన్న స్థలానికి ఆమెను తీసుకెళ్లాలి—అదే నా సంకల్పం. శక్తి వచ్చిందంటే పని పూర్తయినట్టు కాదు; దానికి సరైన మార్గం చూపే ప్రయాణం అప్పుడే మొదలైంది.

నేటి ఉదాహరణలు
- ఒక పెద్ద teamలో ఒక్క communication channelపై ఆధారపడకుండా, workstreamsకు స్పష్టమైన owners ఇవ్వడం.
- Student talentను marksకే పరిమితం చేయకుండా research, sport, art, service వంటి మార్గాలకు దారి చూపడం.
- Public fundingను ప్రకటించడం మాత్రమే కాకుండా, projects, timelines, accountabilityగా విభజించడం.

శక్తి గొప్పది; సరైన దిశలో ప్రవహించే శక్తి మరింత గొప్పది. Visionకు channel, channelకు guide, guideకు destination అవసరం.

My story as Bhagiratha
After Shiva received Ganga in his matted locks, he released her into Bindu lake. From there the single force became seven streams. Hladini, Pavani and Nalini flowed east. Suchakshu, Sita and Sindhu flowed west. The seventh followed my chariot.
I moved ahead and Ganga came behind me with a mighty sound. Aquatic creatures travelled with the waters; gods, sages, gandharvas and yakshas watched. Wherever I turned, the river followed. My purpose was to lead her toward the ashes of my ancestors. Receiving power was not the end of the task; giving it a path was the next responsibility.
Note: This first-person literary retelling follows Valmiki Ramayana, Bala Kanda, Sarga 43. The voice is creative; the sequence of the seven streams and Bhagiratha's guidance follows the text.
🌱 Human Development Perspective
Containment made Ganga's descent safe; direction made it useful. Leadership does not merely suppress energy. It creates channels matched to capacity, context and destination.
🌱 Life Lesson
Power becomes service when it receives a path. Vision needs channels, channels need guides, and guides need a destination.
