బాల రాముడు మరియు సోదరులు — విలువలతో మొదలైన విద్య
నేను రాముణ్ని.
అయోధ్య రాజభవనంలో నా బాల్యం ప్రేమతో నిండింది. నా వెంట భరతుడు, లక్ష్మణుడు, శత్రుఘ్నుడు పెరిగారు. మేము నలుగురం రాజకుమారులమే అయినా, మా పెంపకం సౌకర్యం మాత్రమే నేర్పలేదు. పెద్దలను గౌరవించడం, నియమాన్ని పాటించడం, ఇతరుల పట్ల మర్యాద చూపడం చిన్ననాటి నుంచే మా జీవితంలో భాగమయ్యాయి.
మా గురువు వశిష్ఠ మహర్షి వద్ద విద్యాభ్యాసం ప్రారంభమైంది. వేదాలు, ధర్మం, రాజనీతి, ధనుర్విద్య, ఆయుధ వినియోగం, గుర్రపు స్వారీ, ప్రజల పట్ల రాజుకు ఉండాల్సిన బాధ్యత—అనేక విషయాలు నేర్చుకున్నాం. ప్రతి విద్య వెనుక ఒక లక్ష్యం ఉండేది: జ్ఞానం మనకు శక్తి ఇవ్వాలి; ఆ శక్తిని నియంత్రించడానికి విలువలు ఉండాలి.
లక్ష్మణుడు నాతో ప్రత్యేకమైన అనుబంధంతో ఉండేవాడు. భరతుడు, శత్రుఘ్నుడు కూడా పరస్పరం ఎంతో సన్నిహితంగా ఉండేవారు. మా మధ్య పోటీ కన్నా సహకారం ఎక్కువ. ఒకరి సామర్థ్యాన్ని మరొకరు గౌరవించడం నేర్చుకున్నాం.
రాజకుమారుడిగా జన్మించడం నా ఎంపిక కాదు. కానీ నేను ఎలాంటి వ్యక్తిగా ఎదగాలి అన్నది నా శిక్షణ, నా నిర్ణయాలు, నా ప్రవర్తనపై ఆధారపడి ఉంది. గురువుల వద్ద నేర్చుకున్న ప్రతి పాఠం భవిష్యత్తులో ఎదురయ్యే పెద్ద బాధ్యతలకు మమ్మల్ని సిద్ధం చేసింది.
ఆ రోజుల్లో నాకు తెలియదు—త్వరలోనే విశ్వామిత్ర మహర్షి అయోధ్యకు వచ్చి నా జీవితాన్ని రాజభవనం వెలుపల ఉన్న ప్రపంచంతో పరిచయం చేయబోతున్నారని. కానీ ఆ సవాళ్లను ఎదుర్కొనే పునాది మా బాల్య విద్యలోనే ఏర్పడింది.
🌱 మానవ వికాస కోణం
బాల్యంలో పొందే విద్య కేవలం పరీక్షలకు సిద్ధం చేయకూడదు; జీవితానికి సిద్ధం చేయాలి. Knowledge, skills, values—ఈ మూడు కలిసినప్పుడే సమగ్ర వ్యక్తిత్వం ఏర్పడుతుంది.
ఒక విద్యార్థి మంచి మార్కులు సాధించినా teamwork, empathy, discipline లేకపోతే అతని అభివృద్ధి అసంపూర్ణం. ఉద్యోగానికి technical skill అవసరం; కానీ integrity, communication, responsibility కూడా అంతే ముఖ్యం. AI, data analytics లేదా digital skills నేర్చుకునే యువతకు technologyతో పాటు ethical judgment అవసరం. కుటుంబంలో పిల్లలకు సౌకర్యాలు ఇవ్వడం మాత్రమే కాదు—బాధ్యత, సహనం, గౌరవం నేర్పడం కూడా అవసరం.
ప్రతిభ మనకు ముందుకు వెళ్లే అవకాశం ఇస్తుంది; విలువలు మనం ఏ దిశలో వెళ్లాలో నిర్ణయిస్తాయి.
🌱 జీవిత పాఠం
విద్య అంటే తెలుసుకోవడం మాత్రమే కాదు; తెలిసినదాన్ని బాధ్యతగా ఉపయోగించే వ్యక్తిగా మారడం. జీవితంలోని పెద్ద సవాళ్లకు సిద్ధత చిన్న చిన్న అలవాట్లు, విలువలు, క్రమశిక్షణ నుంచే ప్రారంభమవుతుంది.

Young Rama and His Brothers — An Education Rooted in Values
I am Rama.
My childhood in Ayodhya was filled with affection. Bharata, Lakshmana, Shatrughna and I grew together. Though we were princes, our upbringing was not designed merely around comfort. Respect for elders, discipline, courtesy and responsibility became part of our lives from an early age.
Our education under Sage Vasishtha introduced us to the Vedas, dharma, statecraft, archery, the use of weapons, horsemanship and the responsibilities of a ruler toward people. Behind every subject was a deeper purpose: knowledge should give us capability, while values should guide how that capability is used.
Lakshmana developed a particularly close bond with me, while Bharata and Shatrughna were also deeply attached to one another. We learned cooperation more than rivalry and learned to respect one another’s strengths.
Being born a prince was not my choice. The kind of person I would become, however, depended on training, decisions and conduct. Every lesson from our teachers was preparing us for responsibilities we had not yet encountered.
At that time I did not know that Sage Vishvamitra would soon arrive in Ayodhya and take me beyond the protected world of the palace. Yet the foundation for facing those challenges was already being built through our early education.
🌱 Human Development Perspective
Education in childhood should prepare a person not merely for examinations, but for life. Knowledge, skills and values together create holistic development.
A student may score highly, but development remains incomplete without teamwork, empathy and discipline. Technical skill can secure an opportunity, but integrity, communication and responsibility sustain it. Young people learning AI, data analytics or digital skills also need ethical judgment. Parents must provide children not only with facilities but with responsibility, patience and respect.
Talent gives us the ability to move forward; values help us choose the direction.
🌱 Life Lesson
Education is not merely knowing more; it is becoming a person who uses knowledge responsibly. Preparation for life’s major challenges begins with small habits, values and discipline.
